Bring stories to life through stop-motion animation, filmmaking, and creative storytelling.


At NeuroRoots, our Stop Motion & Film Camp is a hands-on, small-group experience designed for neurodivergent teens who love creativity, technology, storytelling, and self-expression. Students will work together to create mini films, skits, stop-motion animations, and YouTube-style content while building confidence, collaboration, and communication skills in a supportive environment.


What Makes This Different

This isn’t a traditional classroom-style camp.

Students actively create, experiment, and learn by doing in a low-pressure environment where creativity matters more than perfection.

They will:

  • Learn stop-motion animation techniques 
  • Create mini films and skits 
  • Explore editing, sound effects, and music 
  • Practice storytelling and creative planning 
  • Work independently or collaboratively 
  • Build confidence through creative expression 
  • Participate in a final NeuroRoots Film Showcase

  • Small groups 10 students max
  • Hands-on, interactive sessions 
  • Cost is $125 each week or $450 total if paid in full
  • ESA funds accepted 
  • $40 Non-Refundable fee (one-time) for supplies

Connection, confidence, and real friendships in a supportive space.

Build social confidence, make meaningful connections, and have fun in a welcoming environment designed specifically for teens.


At NeuroRoots, our Teen Social Club is a small-group social experience where teens can relax, connect, laugh, and build friendships through engaging activities, games, creative challenges, and shared experiences — without the pressure of “fitting in.”


What Makes This Different

This isn’t a forced social skills group or a high-pressure environment.

Teens are supported through:

  • natural conversation opportunities 
  • collaborative activities 
  • games and team challenges

  • shared interests and connection

A fun, creative camp where teens explore personal style, build confidence, and learn how to express who they are—inside and out.


At NeuroRoots, our Fashion & Personal Style Camp is a hands-on, small-group experience designed for neurodivergent teens who want a supportive space to explore creativity, individuality, confidence, and self-expression without pressure or judgment.


This camp is about much more than clothes. It’s about helping teens feel comfortable being themselves.


What Makes This Different

This isn’t a fashion class focused on trends or perfection.

Students actively create, experiment, and explore personal identity through style, creativity, photography, accessories, outfit building, and confidence-based activities in a supportive environment.

They will:

  • Discover their personal style 
  • Create vision boards and lookbooks 
  • Explore colors, textures, and aesthetics 
  • Learn outfit building and styling basics 
  • Create accessories and fashion-inspired projects 
  • Participate in confidence-building activities 
  • Build friendships in a low-pressure environment

A creative space where teens can just be themselves.

Our Mini Art Camp is a calm, welcoming environment designed specifically for neurodivergent teens to explore creativity without pressure. This isn’t about perfect art—it’s about expression, confidence, and connection.


Students are encouraged to create freely, try new materials, and build confidence in a space where they feel understood and supported.


What to Expect

  • Open-ended art activities (no pressure, no right or wrong way) 
  • A supportive, low-stress environment 
  • Opportunities to connect with peers 
  • Gentle guidance to build confidence through creativity 

Why It Matters

For many teens, traditional environments can feel overwhelming.
This space is different.

Here, they can:

Summer Online Social Groups

Our online social groups are designed for all teens who want to strengthen their executive functioning skills while building meaningful connections with peers. Through guided activities, real-life strategies, and supportive group discussions, teens learn skills like time management, organization, goal setting, and follow-through—all in a relaxed, engaging environment. It’s a space where teens can grow, connect, and gain confidence together.

Minecraft Social Group Ages 10-15

$200

This camp uses the familiar and motivating world of Minecraft to build social skills in a way that feels natural and engaging. Teens collaborate on challenges, practice communication, and develop teamwork skills while connecting with peers who share similar interests. It’s social growth—without the pressure.


Cost includes 4 weeks long

Each week is 1 hour long - 6pm - 7pm

ESA Funds Accepted

Starts Wednesday May 27th  - Ends June 17th

What You Need to Know Before Enrolling

 

At NeuroRoots, our camps are designed specifically for neurodivergent teens in a supportive, low-pressure environment where students can build confidence, friendships, creativity, and independence through hands-on experiences.

Small Group Environment

All camps are intentionally kept small to provide individualized support, reduce overwhelm, and create meaningful social connections.

Neurodivergent-Friendly Approach

We understand that every teen learns, communicates, and participates differently.

Our camps are designed to support:

  • Sensory needs 
  • Social anxiety 
  • Executive functioning challenges 
  • Flexible communication styles 
  • Different learning preferences 

Students are never forced to participate in activities that make them uncomfortable. Observation, quiet participation, and alternative roles are always welcome. Students need to be able to function independently without 1:1 support.

Hands-On Learning

Our programs are highly interactive and focus on:

  • Creativity 
  • Collaboration 
  • Confidence building 
  • Real-world skills 
  • Problem solving 
  • Social connection 

These are not lecture-based programs. Teens learn by creating, exploring, and participating.

What to Bring

Students should bring:

  • Water bottle 
  • Comfortable clothing 
  • Snack (optional) 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to try new things 

All primary camp materials and supplies are included unless otherwise noted.

Technology Use

Some camps may include:

  • Phones/tablets for photography or filming 
  • Editing apps 
  • Music or creative technology tools 

Technology is always structured and supervised during camp activities.

Social Expectations

Our camps are designed to create safe opportunities for connection without pressure.

Students may:

  • Work independently 
  • Participate in pairs or small groups 
  • Choose different creative roles 
  • Take breaks when needed 

We prioritize emotional safety, encouragement, and respectful interaction.

ESA Funding

ESA funds are accepted for eligible families.
