Our program combines strong academic foundations with social-emotional learning, executive functioning development, life skills, creativity, and meaningful community experiences.

A Unique Learning Experience
During portions of the day, Transition students will have opportunities to interact with younger microschool students through structured leadership activities. These experiences provide authentic opportunities to practice communication, responsibility, patience, teamwork, and problem-solving in a supportive environment.
Students are never expected to serve as staff members or childcare providers. Rather, these interactions are intentionally designed as learning experiences that support the development of leadership and workplace readiness skills.
Ideal for Homeschool and Alternative Education Families
Many teens successfully complete academic coursework but still need opportunities to develop the practical skills necessary for adulthood. The NeuroRoots Transition & Leadership Program fills that gap by providing a structured environment where students can practice real-world skills, build confidence, and gain meaningful experiences that prepare them for life after high school.

Program Goals
Our goal is to help students:
At NeuroRoots, we believe that success after high school requires more than academics. Through hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and individualized support, students gain the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive in their next chapter.

Students are supported in developing stronger communication and self-advocacy skills through natural peer interactions and guided group activities.
Our groups provide a supportive environment where students can build emotional awareness, flexibility, and coping skills in real-life situations.
Students are given opportunities to build authentic friendships and meaningful peer connections in a low-pressure environment.
Many activities are intentionally designed to strengthen organization, independence, and problem-solving skills.
Our groups help students build confidence and practical skills that extend beyond the group setting into everyday life.
We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, accepted, and encouraged to be themselves.
