Your teen may be doing well academically...
But are they learning how to interview for a job?
Manage a budget?
Lead a project?
Volunteer in the community?
Advocate for themselves?
Explore careers?
Prepare for college or trade school?
These are the experiences that help teens become confident, independent adults—and they're often difficult to provide through academics alone.
That's why NeuroRoots Transition Pathways exists.
We partner with homeschool, ESA, and alternative education families to provide meaningful, real-world experiences that prepare teens for life beyond high school.
This is not an academic program.
Students continue their academic instruction through homeschooling, online learning, private school, public school, or another educational setting while attending NeuroRoots to develop executive functioning, leadership, career readiness, and independent living skills.
Our flexible afternoon schedule makes it easy for families to combine academics with meaningful enrichment, allowing students to benefit from both structured learning and authentic real-world experiences.
College Readiness
Preparing for postsecondary education through planning, self-advocacy, disability supports, study strategies, and goal setting.
Career Readiness
Exploring careers while developing resumes, interview skills, workplace communication, professionalism, and employment readiness.
Life Readiness
Learning financial literacy, meal planning, organization, executive functioning, decision-making, self-advocacy, and independent living skills.
Leadership & Community
Building confidence through leadership projects, entrepreneurship, community service, public speaking, collaboration, mentoring, and volunteer experiences.
Students don't simply learn about adulthood.
They practice it.
Through community partnerships, project-based learning, leadership opportunities, career exploration, entrepreneurship, volunteer experiences, and authentic life skill activities, students gain confidence by applying what they learn in meaningful ways.
Every experience is intentionally designed to help teens become capable, independent young adults who are prepared for whatever path comes next.
Transition Pathways is ideal for:
• Homeschool families
• ESA families
• Online learners
• Alternative education students
• Neurodivergent teens
• Students who benefit from executive functioning support
• Families looking for meaningful social connections and leadership opportunities
• Teens preparing for college, employment, trade school, or independent living
At NeuroRoots, we believe success after high school requires more than academic knowledge.
It requires confidence.
Experience.
Leadership.
Executive functioning.
Problem-solving.
Communication.
And opportunities to practice real-life skills.
We're here to help teens discover their strengths, prepare for adulthood, and build a future filled with purpose and possibility.
Because graduation isn't the finish line.
It's just the beginning.
