NeuroRoots connects neurodivergent and disabled teens and young adults with local businesses to build real-world skills, explore careers, and discover what is possible.
Local Businesses. Brighter Futures.
Young people can learn about communication, responsibility, problem-solving, workplace expectations, and employment skills in a classroom.
But confidence grows when they get the opportunity to practice those skills in the real world.
Our Community Career Partners help create those opportunities.
Through workplace visits, career conversations, job-shadow experiences, hands-on activities, and other meaningful interactions, businesses can help young people connect what they are learning to the world around them.

Give students a glimpse into your industry and the careers within it.

Invite students to see your business and learn how it operates.

Allow students to observe employees and experience a typical work environment.

Provide simple, structured activities that allow students to practice workplace skills.

For businesses interested in going further, partnerships may grow into internships, volunteer opportunities, or employment connections.
Not every partnership needs to lead to employment.
Sometimes the most valuable opportunity is simply:
“Come see what we do.”
A business can make a difference by giving a young person the opportunity to:
One experience can change what a young person believes is possible.
Businesses can choose how they would like to participate.
Start Small
Get More Involved
Build a Long-Term Partnership
NeuroRoots handles the educational side of the experience.
We can:
NeuroRoots works with neurodivergent and disabled children, teens, and young adults as they develop skills for greater independence, education, employment, and community participation.
Our older students may be exploring questions like:
What am I good at?
What kind of work might I enjoy?
What does a workplace expect from me?
How do I communicate with coworkers?
What does it actually mean to have a job?
Could I see myself working here?
Businesses help us turn those questions into experiences.
We are building a community of businesses who are willing to share their time, knowledge, workplace, or expertise to help young people prepare for their future.
No financial commitment. No obligation to hire. Just an opportunity to make an impact.

Whether you can offer a one-time career conversation or want to develop an ongoing relationship with NeuroRoots, we'd love to hear from you.
Complete our short Business Interest Form and tell us a little about your business and how you might like to get involved.

We are looking for people who believe in creating meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent young people.
You may be able to help by providing:
A Food Trailer
Help us acquire a trailer to become our mobile workforce lab.
Business Support
Provide sponsorship, resources, expertise, or connections.
Equipment & Supplies
Help us outfit the trailer and create a functional learning environment.
Professional Expertise
Share your skills, knowledge, or services to help us build the project.
Community Connections
Help us connect with businesses, events, and organizations where our students can gain real-world experience.
Financial Support
Help us move the project from a dream toward reality.
It's about giving young people the opportunity to say:
I can do this.
It's about learning through experience.
It's about discovering strengths.
It's about building confidence.
It's about creating opportunities for meaningful work and greater independence.
We know this is a BIG dream.
But every big dream starts somewhere.
Maybe you can help us acquire the trailer.
Maybe you can provide equipment.
Maybe your business can become a sponsor.
Maybe you know someone who can help.
Maybe you simply want to be part of something meaningful.
Whatever your connection to the dream, we want to hear from you.
