Every Friday. A New Mission.
Mission Fridays are the signature STEM experience at NeuroRoots, where learning comes to life through immersive, hands-on adventures. Each month, students step into a new role—astronaut, engineer, inventor, scientist, detective, or explorer—and work together to solve exciting real-world challenges.
Rather than completing isolated science activities, students become part of an ongoing mission. They'll design rockets, build Mars habitats, excavate dinosaur fossils, engineer roller coasters, program robots, create inventions, and explore the wonders of our oceans—all while developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Homeschool families are invited to join Mission Fridays through our Homeschool Co-Op. Ages 5-12
Whether your child joins for a single mission or an entire year of adventures, they'll experience meaningful, hands-on learning in a welcoming community where exploration, innovation, and imagination thrive.
Explore. Engineer. Discover. Grow.
At NeuroRoots, every Friday is a new adventure.

The program also supports executive functioning, including planning, sequencing, organization, attention to detail, flexible thinking, and task completion. Students practice safe food preparation, following directions, decision-making, and independence in a structured, engaging learning environment.
The Wacky Kitchen Lab makes learning memorable by combining scientific exploration with creativity, practical life skills, and hands-on discovery.

Board games, friendship, turn-taking, communication, and meaningful social interaction in a welcoming group environment.

Students are supported in developing stronger communication and self-advocacy skills through natural peer interactions and guided group activities.
Our groups provide a supportive environment where students can build emotional awareness, flexibility, and coping skills in real-life situations.
Students are given opportunities to build authentic friendships and meaningful peer connections in a low-pressure environment.
Many activities are intentionally designed to strengthen organization, independence, and problem-solving skills.
Our groups help students build confidence and practical skills that extend beyond the group setting into everyday life.
We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, accepted, and encouraged to be themselves.
At NeuroRoots, we intentionally keep our classes small and supportive so every student has an opportunity to participate, connect, and receive meaningful support. It is always our intention to fill our groups, however sometimes enrollment is not met. If this is the case, your enrollment will be refunded.
🌱 Please Know Before Registering
No Refunds
Class enrollment is non-refundable. Our classes are intentionally small, and when you enroll, we reserve your child’s spot and plan and purchase supplies based on enrollment.
The only exception: If NeuroRoots cancels a class or program, families will receive a refund for the canceled class.
📸 Photo & Liability Waiver
All participants must complete a Photo & Liability Waiver prior to participating in NeuroRoots programs.
🤝 Students Needing 1:1 Support
Our programs are designed for small-group participation. Students who require 1:1 adult support to safely and successfully participate must complete a free consultation with NeuroRoots prior to enrollment.
This allows us to better understand your child’s needs and determine whether the program is an appropriate fit.
🏡 Small Classroom • Drop-Off Program
Our classroom is intentionally small and designed for a comfortable, supportive group experience.
Classes are drop-off style, allowing students to participate independently and build confidence in the classroom.
We understand that some parents may feel more comfortable staying nearby. Parents are always welcome to remain in our waiting room, where they can see their child at all times.
💚 Our Goal
We want every child who walks through our doors to have an experience where they feel safe, supported, included, and successful.
If you have questions about whether a program is a good fit for your child, please reach out before registering. We’re happy to help!
